gratitude
happy thanksgiving to ya!
nevermind the moutwatering cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie for breakfast tomorrow – i love this holiday cause it gives me another great reason to remember how f-in lucky i am. hate to brag and all but, well, that’s pretty darn lucky. eat your hearts out:
- i have an amazing baby (who’s pretty darn cute to boot) who i get to watch grow every day
- i have a wonderful, loving, supportive husband who is also a bang-up dad to our child
- i have my health – and in the few days that i don’t have it during the year (like the beginning of this week) i really realize how awesome it is
- i have a loving and supportive family
- i have tons of amazing friends all over the globe (too bad more aren’t in my neighborhood) that always inspire and support me
- i have a fantastic apartment with all that i need and more in a peaceful part of the world
- every time someone asks me what i want for my birthday i am usually at a loss because i generally don’t want for a thing
(and now to the recent nitty gritty) - my mom visited me this year
- i had the pleasure of seeing my mom’s wedding (and my relatives in RI) this year!
- i had an awesome doctor that made sure my baby got out safely before disaster could strike
- i had a fairly easy pregnancy
- so many family & friends (here and abroad) shared the joy of our birth by showering us with so much generosity we were blown away and are indebted for life
- the staff at my clinic are fantastic and supportive – they made the birth experience so much easier
- obama won the election
- my city has a diaper service
- haagen dazs created “cafe moca” flavor
- i have HD TV and discovered Medium and House, MD so have something to do other than studying japanese while nursing (and can FF thru commercials)
i could go on like that forever but i suppose the things that help me pass the time are probably not so interesting to you…anyway – i’m thankful YOU are reading my blog and sharing my life! hope you have tons to be thankful for too!!
big love,
heather
